Let's start with the fact that a brand is... an abstraction . You can't touch it see it taste it. A brand is the sum of expectations associations and ideas built over time  it is what the customer expects before he buys the product. In P. Kotler's language a brand is a promise that should shape the entire behavior and operating strategy of the company. But what does this actually mean? Imagine that every touchpoint  or place where a customer encounters your brand is an opportunity to strengthen or weaken your brand. Regardless of whether it is a website a stand at a fair a product presentation or an email written to a client  if you want to build a strong brand your activities at these points must be consistent.


They are what create your brand in your customers' minds. Creating a brand is a process. It's more like a marathon than a sprint but the game is definitely worth the candle.
